Lewis and Harris XC Series 2005-06

SRAC are delighted to have Alex Murray Construction as the sponsors for this seasons Lewis and Harris Cross Country series. The series will as in previous years take place on a variety of different routes in the Castle Grounds, concentrating in the area of the Lews Castle, the Castle Green and the Woodlands Centre.

The sponsorship from Alex Murray’s Construction will help keep SRAC's expenditure on the event manageable. It will cover the cost of medals for each individual race as well as provision of presentation medals to the winners of the various age category winners.

The age groups are; under-9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 20 and seniors. The Lewis and Harris XC series regularly attracts over one hundred competitors throughout the age categories.

Dates of the three races:

Registration for all runs will be in the Bridge Centre, under 17, 20 and senior runners should register from 9.15am and all the younger competitors not all ready registered through their schools can register between 9.45am – 10.20am.

SRAC members please note that participation in these races is rewarded by points in "La Liga".
