Enjoyed the run pity about the weather,I found it cold in the wind and rain and just could not get going until we turned off the sea front at around the 5 mile marker. The second part of the course was just great through the castle grounds with it twists, turns and up-hill sections. I had to dig in for the last couple of miles,so was disappointed with my time,so will need to come back to post a better time.

Do you have names of the other runners who like me although listed as MV50 are in the MV70 cat, so I can see their times, do you know how many of the MV70 runners are doing the 3 race challenge.

Finally I would like to say thank you to all your marshals and helpers for braving the cold wet and windy conditions for the runners.

kind regards

Thanks to you all for the hard work and organisation which you put into the race and ceilidh. It is a great event and extremely well organised and the band at the ceilidh were superb. We listened to the CD all the way home in the car yesterday.

Really enjoyed the run, despite rain, wind, struggling up hills, hope you did too.  Buffet fantastic as always and ceilidh absolutely brilliant.  Well done again Stornoway Running Club.  A lot of clubs could learn a lot from you lot.
