| Wild West 10K 2004 - 14 July 2004 Right from
the start, Ross Munro and Murdo Alex Mackenzie showed that they meant
business and after one kilometre they were already a couple of hundred
yards ahead of the chasing pack. Further down
the field it was good to see some new faces taking part - Malcolm Macaulay
proved to be just too strong for Neil McRury, Chris Little and Angus
Maciver. Finding the finish proved to be difficult for some - Chris Ryan was caught out by the change of route from last year and when he reached what he thought was the finish line there was nobody there! While Maggie and Karen MacDonald enjoyed the Willow Glen loop so much that they did it twice - so they could claim to have won the Wild West 11K race! Many thanks to the race sponsors - Wild West Beef Jerky - who gave a sample of their delicious product to all finishers. What is Wild West Beef Jerky? Well why not go online, read about it and then buy some! Their web address is www.wildwestjerky.co.uk
